DNP Research Tutoring
Mark provided tutoring for my DNP tutoring class throughout the entire semester. He was meticulous to the requirements of each assignment in this class. He read each rubric requirement to ensure each one was met. I worked with Mark for 12 weeks this semester. Collaborating with him on a weekly basis, Mark helped me enhance my writing skills and deepen my understanding of research. With an impressive background in medicine and research, Mark effortlessly made complex topics both comprehensible and relatable. Each session he was readily available and prepared. Our collaborative efforts this semester focused on a literature paper and various discussion post on research topics. Mark assisted me with my PICO search, article critical appraisals, study methods, statistical significance, and researching articles on databases, among other aspects. His kindness and helpfulness were consistently evident. I successfully completed both papers with an A grade, thanks to Mark's dedication. He went above and beyond, sometimes working outside of scheduled sessions to ensure the excellence of my papers. Mark's passion for teaching, research, and medicine shone through in our sessions. Starting with minimal knowledge in these areas, I was able to master key concepts under his guidance, skills I can apply in future research as well as my career. I enjoyed working with him each week, these subjects that seemed daunting at first, became clear to understand. I will absolutely use him again for any area I may be struggling in. Knowledgeable and Effective Tutor
Had my first session with Mark and it was SO great! Prior to our session he asked me what I needed assistance with, if I had any class powerpoints or objectives to go by that I wanted to review, which really helped to organize the flow of our meeting and manage our time on topics. Mark went above and beyond, even seeking out my exact textbook to ensure he was reviewing material relevant for me. This let me know he was serious about making sure I am learning effectively. He answered ALL my questions and even had some review practice problems for me. I am looking forward to aceing this quiz and scheduling our next session!
