I believe I have the skills needed to be an effective and caring teacher. First of all, I love to teach others. I was a Peer Coach on the Los Angeles Valley College Speech Team in 2012 - 2013 and a bunch of students commented to my superiors that I loved to teach and that I made them better competitors. At California State University Northridge I coached and taught other students in Coms 401 (Communication and Social Change) how to make their performances better and receive the grade that they wanted. At Cal State Northridge I taught a Poetry in Performance seminar as well. In the past two years I have taught multiple classes in Public Speaking, Interpersonal, Intercultural, and Group Communication at Los Angeles Valley College. I also have a caring attitude and am willing to help students when they need it. I can relate to students because I am one and have struggled throughout my educational career, but have achieved success in my GPA and in receiving degrees.
I have experience in all areas of English, Grammar, and Public Speaking Skills. I am a Christian and love the Bible. I have been studying the Bible in depth for over 15 years.
I was an actor for 20 years and I have an AA degree in Theatre Arts.
