Hi! I am currently living in Monterey while I work on my masters degree at Middlebury Institute of International Studies. I come from a family of four children and if you asked my mother ten years ago which of her children were most likely to pursue higher levels of education, I would have been the last choice. While studying Russian at Brigham Young University, I developed a strong love of learning. I minored in both European Studies and international business and literacy because I had a hard time narrowing in on one field of study. I prepared for medical school and completed all of the prerequisite classes but decided a masters degree in international relations was truly my lifelong calling.

More than anything, I want to help others develop a love of learning. It has blessed my life immensely and I want my passion for learning to influence all with whom I come in contact with. Learning is a process that facilitates strong ethical convictions and I intend on being an example in the highest regard of a life long student. I look forward to sharing numerous experience with you as we work together in our educational pursuit.

I completed high levels of general chemistry and organic chemistry while preparing for medical school. I also worked as a research assistant in the psychology department at BYU for a year.

I have lived and worked in Eastern Europe for close to three years as well as I received my bachelors degree in Russian. I speak at an advanced level and have also spent a considerable amount of time as a teaching assistant for beginning Russian students of the college level.

I minored in global business and literacy in addition to having over 2 years of experience in marketing for various companies.
