I also have passed the CBEST and am very interested in tutoring people in the math portion of the CBEST. My background is in tutoring at an adult school in literacy and teaching part-time at a small private school in Blythe, CA. In my last job in education, I provided individualized instruction at the EOP program at East Los Angeles Community College. I have received several awards in tutoring such as ‘The Outstanding Tutor Award’ from the Montebello’s school literacy program. I usually try to adapt my tutoring methods to the needs of the student and to use the resources that their teacher has provided. I love to help my students reach their fullest potential and I enjoy my job as a tutor.
