I have over 2,000 hours of tutoring experience working with middle school and high school students in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science through other international online tutoring platform. Throughout this experience, I have maintained more than 20+ five-star reviews from students and parents, reflecting both strong academic outcomes and positive learning experiences.
My teaching style focuses on building confidence, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students truly understand concepts rather than relying on memorization. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and pace, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independent thinking skills. I also provide support for exam preparation, study planning, and long-term academic improvement.
In addition to tutoring school-aged students, I have extensive teaching experience in higher education. I have taught undergraduate-level computer science and advanced biology courses. I was also an instructor for the Master’s course “Fundamentals of Computer Science in Biomedicine” and I taught computational and analytical concepts to graduate students. In addition, I have taught Python programming and mathematics workshops for PhD students and researchers.
My academic background includes a PhD in Bioinformatics & Biochemistry from the University of Manchester and A*STAR Bioinformatics Institute in Singapore, an MRes from the University of Bristol, and a First-Class BSc in Biomedical Science from Kingston University.
I am also a Mathematics and Computer Science Judge for the Los Angeles County Science Fair, which reflects my continued involvement in STEM education and student development.
