Hello! My name is Sandra, and I'm an online tutor for Spanish, English and math.

I have over 10 years of professional experience in the corporate world and a strong academic background in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. As a first-generation Latina college graduate, I'm passionate about help students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and realize their academic potential.

My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and structured. I focus on explaining concepts clearly, breaking down difficult material, and adapting lessons to each student's learning style. I believe learning should feel encouraging, not overwhelming, and I work to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions.

During college, I worked with middle school and high school students through the AVID program, which prepares students for college success. In this role, I helped students one-on-one and in group settings with homework, organization, and understanding class material. This experience, combined with my professional background, allows me to connect academic concepts to real-world applications students can relate to.

In my current role, I develop training materials, write step-by-step processes, and coach team members to ensure understanding and progress. These skills translate directly into tutoring through clear explanations, regular check-ins, and personalized support.
