Currently I am in my first year of studies in a Masters of Science in Physics at San Jose State University where I am working as a Teachers Assistant in the Physics Department. My educational background includes receiving my Bachelors of Science in both majors of Astrophysics and Geophysics with a minor in Mathematics from UCLA in 2025. In my studies I gained extensive knowledge in classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, quantum mechanics, mathematical physics, discrete mathematics, multivariable calculus, real analysis, complex analysis, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, linear and nonlinear systems of differential equations, applied numerical methods, abstract linear algebra, probability theory, history of mathematics and science, science education, stellar astrophysics, galactic astronomy, extragalactic astrophysics, planetary physics, astrophysics laboratory, geochemistry, paleobiology, geological structures, field geology, oceans and atmospheres, physics of the Earth, planetary physics, applied geophysics, fluid mechanics, computation in geophysics, Python, C++, Linux systems, and database systems. I am highly competent to tutor students in any of the above subject matters.
I was involved in the CalTeach program, where I taught and assisted first graders with learning physics, earth science, and biology at an elementary school. During my years at UCLA, I worked as a Learning Assistant for undergraduate courses in programming for geosciences, and continental drift and plate tectonics. I was involved in tutoring local middle and high students who came to UCLA for assistance in math, physics, chemistry, and biology. I also was involved in physics education research in the UCLA Physics Department. Additionally, I helped design and test the exams for Science Olympiad at UCLA in Dynamic Planet, Geologic Mapping, and Write It Do It.
