I am a Dad, song-writer, teacher, artist! I studied social anxiety, religious trauma, and music activity on the brain, during my PhD in Social Psychology. I am passionate about social change and have been teaching elementary through college age for 15 years. I enjoy teaching in group settings as well as one-on-one, and can work with a variety of personalities! I enjoy helping students achieve their educational and vocational aspirations! I have a PhD in Social Psychology, a Masters in Psychology, and a multiple subject teaching credential from the state of California. I graduated with honors in my undergrad program, and have excelled in all of my upper education endeavors. I am currently beginning work on a second Master's in Educational Technology and instructional design so I can expand my practice by outsourcing some of my skills and knowledge. I have been teaching for nearly 15 years; started out teaching art at a public school, and then transitioned into substitute teaching while I worked on my PhD. I have been teaching first/second grade in a looping class for the last three years, and love working with this age group, though I can support learners of all ages. I enjoy getting to know my students, and facilitating their retention by using their interests in an engaging manner.
