Amazing tutor
She is such an amazing tutor. She keeps things living and interesting while learning and we talk about real things. It feels like talking to a friend and not as formal and awkward as it sometimes has felt with other tutors. I think if you really want to learn how to speak this is important to learn how to speak among friends and slang and culture, she does all of this. But also when I need a review of more formal concepts we do that and do workbook activities when I feel I need them, she is able to tutor in the way that is best for you to learn.

I had my first lesson with Claudia and like that she understands how a beginner learns Italian is through speaking. Speaking is difficult but challenges us to become more fluent. Look forward to our next lesson.

It was just the first lesson, but I appreciated how Claudia, even while conversing, was able to evaluate me by the end of the hour, highlighting areas for future concentration and areas of improvement. I like her approach of learning Italian by speaking in conversation vs studying grammar in a text book.

Claudia G: The initial review was cut short before I finished. One of the things I found interesting and helpful about Claudia G was her information about Italians' ways of expressing themselves. She would point out the difference between how Americans might say something, and how Italians would say the same thought. It should help to avoid embarrassing looks when I'm in Italy! And she included a little history too. It makes it fun and interesting. The lesson plans were really easy to follow, and really easy for studying and practicing.
