I'm Carson and I'd love to help guide you to your academic goals and achieve the success that your hard work deserves! I'm a UC Berkeley mathematics graduate and current PhD student at USC. Previously, I have completed associates’ degrees in engineering, physics, and math. I firmly believe anyone can excel in their studies - STEM, humanities, arts, or all the above - with some dedication and application.

I’ve worked consistently and frequently as a tutor in various settings. I’ve helped students attain their desired goals in a wide array of subjects, including: mathematics from the elementary level all the way through graduate studies; statistics through mathematical statistics and probability theory; science including computer science, calculus-based physics, biology, chemistry, etc.; English literature and language; Spanish literature and language; social science including intermediate-level macroeconomics and microeconomics, government and politics, history etc.; plus other important subject matter like mathematical finance, personal finance, multimedia, philosophy, and more. Also, I’m ready to help you reach the standard of test-taking proficiency you wish to attain! My areas of expertise include the ACT, SAT, SAT subject tests, GRE, GRE math subject test, GED, SOA actuarial exams, and more!!

I'm flexible with breadth of subject matter and depth of knowledge; however, my favorite subject to teach is mathematics: especially calculus, analysis, linear and abstract algebra, logic, discrete mathematics (number theory, combinatorics, etc), and statistics. After our session, you’ll be equipped with the tools necessary to boost the progress of your academic journey and leave with a refreshed mindset and reignited motivation to excel.
