Hello and welcome! My name is Tanja, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with you one-on-one. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about my background.
I was born and raised in Bremen, Germany, where I spent the first 30 years of my life. My studies in German and Sports led me to earn a Master’s degree in Education and teaching credentials for grades 1 through 10. I began my teaching career in Germany, where I taught German, English, French, and Sports, and also enjoyed tutoring students individually to help them achieve their academic goals.
A few years ago, I moved to beautiful California, where I continued my passion for teaching by working as a 4th-grade teacher in a private school. In that role, I taught bilingual German-English subjects and gained valuable experience in helping students thrive in a one-on-one setting.
I am excited to bring this experience to our tutoring sessions. My aim is to make our time together both engaging and effective, tailoring our sessions to fit your unique learning needs and interests. I am committed to ensuring that you feel confident and supported as you work towards your goals.
