I’m currently a Computer Science student at UC Irvine, and throughout my time in school I discovered how much I enjoy helping others understand math. I’ve completed college-level coursework in Calculus, Linear Algebra, and other foundational math classes that allow me to tutor confidently in a wide range of subjects. My background in STEM has given me strong problem-solving skills and a clear understanding of how to break complicated ideas into simple, approachable steps. I work well with students of all ages and always aim to create a comfortable learning environment where questions are encouraged and progress feels achievable.

I have over a year of tutoring experience, both in professional settings and private one-on-one sessions. I previously worked at Mathnasium, where I supported elementary, middle school, and early high school students in subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra fundamentals, fractions, number sense, and basic geometry. Outside of Mathnasium, I have also helped students prepare for standardized tests, including SAT Math, and have tutored topics like trigonometry and middle school math. Whether I’m helping with homework, reviewing class material, or building skills from the ground up, I adjust my approach based on each student’s pace and learning style.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and grounded in clarity. I focus on explaining concepts in multiple ways, using examples and practice problems to make sure students truly understand rather than memorize. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, and I’m committed to making math feel less intimidating and more rewarding. I’m easy to reach, quick to respond, and always open to feedback from students and parents. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a session—I’d be happy to help you reach your goals.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have over a year of experience tutoring elementary students in math and foundational academic skills. While working at Mathnasium, I supported K–6 learners in building number sense, fluency, and confidence in topics such as fractions, arithmetic, and early algebra concepts. I specialize in breaking down material into clear, approachable steps and adjusting my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. My goal is to help young learners feel confident, supported, and excited about developing strong academic habits.
Elementary Math

I have over a year of experience tutoring elementary math, including my time working at Mathnasium where I supported students in developing strong foundational skills. I have worked with students from early elementary through middle school, helping them with arithmetic, fractions, word problems, and overall number sense. My approach is patient, clear, and focused on building confidence while breaking concepts down in a way that makes sense for each learner. As a current Computer Science student at UC Irvine with advanced math coursework, I bring strong content knowledge and a supportive teaching style to every session.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I have over a year of experience tutoring Pre-Algebra through both Mathnasium and private one-on-one sessions. I’ve worked with students who are building the bridge from basic arithmetic to more advanced concepts like variables, equations, ratios, and problem-solving. My teaching style focuses on strengthening foundational understanding while helping students develop confidence with new skills step by step. As a Computer Science major at UC Irvine with completed coursework in calculus and linear algebra, I bring strong math fluency and a patient, clear approach that supports students at any level.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I scored an 800 on the SAT Math section and have over a year of experience tutoring students in math through both Mathnasium and private sessions. I specialize in breaking down SAT Math concepts into clear, manageable steps and teaching students the strategies they need to work quickly and accurately under pressure. My approach blends content mastery with test-taking techniques, including identifying common question patterns, eliminating trap answers, and managing time effectively. As a Computer Science student at UC Irvine with advanced math coursework, I bring strong technical skills and proven success to every lesson to help students reach their score goals.
