ADHD

I aim to show students that learning can be fun and interactive. For more than 15 years, I have taught multiple subjects to students from high school through graduate school. I have worked with more than 200 individuals who have ADHD and/or depression, as well as those who are undiagnosed with ADHD. I’ve also worked with people with dyslexia. Most recently, I have worked with students who struggle to maintain focus and to pass their classes. Most of these students have some type of ADHD or were simply disengaged from the subject.

Bar Exam

I have trained students to prepare for the bar exams in multiple states, including California, Florida, Michigan, New York, and Arizona. I can customize your study program based on the areas that need the most attention so you can streamline studying and stay focused on what matters. I also have access to bar‑prep resources such as Barbri, Themis, OneTimers, and more. Some students use their own commercial programs, which I can work with, and we will tailor each session to focus on MBE and MEE/essay/MPT reviews. Business

I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and officially launched my first company in 1996, bootstrapping without outside investors. Since then I’ve led ventures in legal support, finance/credit consulting, real estate investment, and nonprofit services, and I understand corporate governance and compliance from the inside. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA)—which gives me practical insight into government programs, grants, and public–private partnerships—and a Juris Doctor (JD) covering the legal mechanics of business (contracts, entities, employment, regulatory compliance). Textbook theory is essential, but classes are most valuable when infused with practical, hands-on skills; I teach both for-profit and nonprofit topics and have mentored business owners and students for 20+ years to turn concepts into execution.

I am a professional writer and editor with a JD, an MPA, and a BSB, with 30 years of experience drafting and refining high‑level legal, academic, scientific, business, and creative documents. I have spoken on many stages, published numerous articles and books, and edited a wide range of works including nonfiction, creative writing, scientific pieces, legal documents, documentaries, movie and film scripts, plays, and journals. I mentor students and professionals in clear, structured writing (from paragraphs to essays), grammar, reading comprehension, and study skills, customizing lesson plans for ESL learners and for individuals with learning or focus challenges. My goal is to help every student communicate clearly, confidently, and in their own voice.

Essay Writing

I know what it’s like to have writer’s block, and I can help you get unstuck. I am a published author and professional writer with works published in business and trade publications and in law firm and law school blogs. I write for attorneys daily, and my writing assistance helps students appreciate their own writing style while still meeting the requirements of academic, admissions, and scholarship writing. I am also a trained public speaker, which adds a unique performance aspect to writing—especially persuasive writing. I help students understand how rhythm, tone, pacing, and emphasis can strengthen their message on the page the same way they would in a compelling spoken presentation. I have co‑authored two leadership books (It’s All About Showing Up – The Power Is in the Asking; Lead Us Up: Stories of Resilience & Leadership) and have won awards in both business and creative writing. With a Bachelor of Science in Business, a Master of Public Administration, and a Juris Doctor (2025), I bring structure, persuasive storytelling, and professional polish to every session—while adapting to your voice so it still sounds like you, only stronger. I mentor students whose first language is not English, as well as students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. It is my goal to share my love for writing. Fiction Writing

I am a published author and professional writer with contest wins in both business and creative writing. I have published short stories and poems, written screenplays, and contributed to film projects, and I write across multiple genres—including romance, rom‑com, drama, and inspirational fiction. My background as a public speaker adds a performance dimension to my mentoring, helping writers strengthen pacing, dialogue, emotional beats, and the overall rhythm of their storytelling. I mentor writers at all levels, helping them develop their voice, structure their ideas, and bring their characters and worlds to life with clarity and confidence.

Finance

I hold a business degree and have extensive experience in finance, accounting, and both personal and business taxation. I am also an active business and financial mentor, guiding clients and students through investment concepts, risk assessment, and financial analysis in practical, real‑world contexts. My background is strengthened by my law degree, which helps me connect financial, business, and legal principles with clarity. I enjoy helping students build confidence, understand the “why” behind financial decisions, and succeed in fast‑paced or challenging courses.

Law

I hold a Juris Doctor (JD, 2025). I write professionally for attorneys (correspondence, briefs, motions, discovery, complex litigation), and I also publish across multiple mediums: a law school blog, law firm blog, articles for various business blogs and publications, and factual and creative work as a published author and public speaker (featured by Purdue Global Law School, Toastmaster Magazine, and others). I coach students to think and write like lawyers using IRAC/CRAC/CREAC/FIRAC structures (depending on their schools), rule statements, fact application, Bluebook citation, and court-ready documents. How sessions work: we review your coursework and drafts, diagnose issues, and revise live. For bar examinees, we will practice issue spotting and Performance Tests (PT/MPT).

Legal Writing

I hold a JD, an MPA, and a BSB, and I write for attorneys daily, including correspondence, briefs, motions, discovery, and complex litigation documents. I have also written and edited a wide range of public and professional works such as nonfiction books, creative pieces, scientific writing, legal documentaries, movie and film scripts, plays, journals, and numerous published articles. My publications and writing awards reflect the same standards I teach, giving students access to real‑world writing techniques. I teach legal writing for law school exams, law school assignments, bar exams, and including MPT, MEE, and articles for publications. Students benefit from my diverse writing experience in legal writing, especially IRAC and the practical of motions, discovery, memorandum, demand letters, and speeches. I am a professional proofreader and editor with a JD, an MPA, and a BSB, bringing more than 30 years of experience refining legal, academic, and business documents. I review articles, memos, briefs, research papers, and professional writing for clarity, structure, grammar, and overall effectiveness while preserving the author’s voice. I am a seasoned emcee, public speaker, talk-show host, and on-camera talent with appearances on multiple shows, roles in film projects, and numerous red-carpet and purple-carpet events. I’ve been featured in Toastmaster Magazine and other publications. I’ve successfully coached pageant queens who went on to win titles, as well as people who aced interviews and founders who pitched their ideas and raised funds. I’ve led mastermind meetings, delivered keynotes, spoken at career days, and presented at empowerment events and retreats. I’m a trainer who makes complex topics easy for the audience. I turn real stage, acting, and presentation experience into practical coaching—message design and structure, storytelling, vocal variety, body language, stage presence, and on-camera/teleprompter skills. I bring more than 20 years of hands‑on real estate experience as a former licensed California Real Estate Salesperson, property manager, loan consultant, and long‑term investor. I understand the rules, ethics, disclosures, and day‑to‑day realities of real estate because I’ve lived them—handling transactions, advising buyers and sellers, managing rental portfolios, and navigating financing, valuations, inspections, and negotiations. I have completed formal continuing education in agency, ethics, trust funds, fair housing, financing, consumer protection, and risk management, and I stay current through ongoing training and investment work. I also studied Real Property, Property Transactions, and related subjects in law school, and I’ve worked extensively with real estate laws in litigation, bankruptcy, landlord‑tenant matters, and transactional settings. My background allows me to explain real estate concepts in a practical, easy‑to‑understand way—whether you’re preparing for an exam, learning the fundamentals, or trying to understand how real estate works in real life. I mentor students at all levels, including those new to the field, multilingual learners, and students who benefit from structured, step‑by‑step guidance.
