During Covid I would meet on Zoom with my special needs student who was in second grade. I would read to him and have him read books to me. I also enjoyed using games and other tactics to help him with words he found difficult.
I would also help him with writing journals and stories, and encourage him to have his own imaginative ideas.
I have a minor in music and I use to be a be preschool music teacher.
I have worked with kids who have Autism and other special needs for over 10 years. My last job was as a behavioral assistant and I also use to work at an Autism program. I have also worked through the school district and assisted kids in grades K-8
