Hi! I’m Lucas, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. My academic background includes advanced coursework in linear algebra, calculus, statistics, differential equations, and abstract algebra, and I've continued to apply mathematics daily in my professional work as an engineer. In addition, I work as a music educator, where I teach private lessons on sound synthesis and music production; an experience that has strengthened my ability to explain complex technical ideas in a clear and approachable way.

I have tutored many students one-on-one in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus and physics, helping them strengthen algebra foundations and develop the intuition needed to succeed with advanced topics. When teaching, I emphasize the importance of mastering fundamentals. Mathematics builds on itself, so even small gaps in understanding can make future learning more difficult. I aim to help students fill those gaps, develop confidence, and learn how to approach problems from different perspectives until the concepts truly click.
