Hi! I’m Arpa, a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Bentley University in Boston with a degree in Data Analytics and Business Studies and minors in Actuarial Science and Computer Information Systems. I’ve always loved math and logic, not just solving problems, but understanding the why behind them. Over the years, I’ve tutored students from middle school through college in subjects like Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Introductory Programming (Python and R).
I use an encouraging and step-by-step approach to help students feel confident in tackling even the most challenging concepts. In a typical lesson, I introduce a topic in a clear, conversational way, work through examples together, and then guide students as they solve problems independently. For coding lessons, I focus on helping students understand real-world applications, like using Python to visualize data or automate simple tasks, so learning feels purposeful and fun.
I’ve worked with students at many levels: middle schoolers learning pre-algebra, high school students preparing for AP Calculus and Statistics, and college students deepening their quantitative and programming skills. What sets me apart is my ability to connect math and coding, showing how analytical thinking can open doors to many exciting fields.
My goal is to make learning an empowering experience, helping every student see that with the right mindset and guidance, they can truly master math and data skills for life.
