I am an MBA graduate from Georgetown University with a strong background in quantitative analysis, business strategy, and data-driven decision making. I work with students who want to develop MBA-level analytical frameworks and structured problem-solving skills for GMAT preparation, MBA coursework, and real-world business case analysis.

My approach helps students move beyond memorization and develop a structured method for solving complex problems, combining quantitative reasoning, strategic thinking, and practical business insights.

Many of the students I work with are MBA candidates, consulting applicants, or GMAT test-takers aiming for top scores who want to strengthen their analytical reasoning and decision-making abilities.

Areas we often work on include:

• GMAT Quantitative Reasoning
• MBA Case Analysis & Business Strategy
• Statistical Analysis & Data Interpretation
• Decision Analysis & Business Modeling
• Market & Industry Analysis
• Excel-based Analytical Models

Sessions emphasize clear analytical frameworks and structured thinking, helping students identify key drivers, interpret data effectively, and develop well-supported recommendations.

Students often report that this approach improves not only their GMAT performance and case assignments, but also their confidence in approaching complex business problems.

I particularly enjoy working with students preparing for MBA programs, consulting interviews, and the quantitative sections of the GMAT.

If you are preparing for the GMAT or working through MBA case assignments, feel free to reach out with details about your goals or the material you are working on.

Approved Subjects

Business

Business

I hold an MBA from Georgetown University with a focus on business strategy, marketing, and statistical analysis. I guide students through practical business cases, integrating decision-making frameworks, market analytics, and quantitative tools. For example, I recently helped an MBA student develop a market entry strategy that secured a top score in their case competition. My approach combines real-world business dynamics with rigorous analysis, ensuring students apply what they learn to drive measurable results in their careers.
Financial Accounting

Financial Accounting

I teach financial accounting with a focus on understanding how businesses record transactions and prepare financial statements. With an MBA from Georgetown University and a quantitative background from San Diego State University, I help students develop a clear framework for analyzing accounting information and solving accounting problems. My approach emphasizes both conceptual understanding and practical application so students can confidently interpret financial statements and succeed in accounting coursework and exams.
GMAT

GMAT

I specialize in GMAT Quantitative and Verbal preparation, helping students master advanced problem-solving strategies, efficient shortcuts, and time-management techniques essential for high GMAT scores. With an MBA background and extensive experience tutoring GMAT students, I teach students how to recognize common GMAT patterns and apply strategic approaches rather than relying on memorization. My approach to GMAT preparation focuses on deep conceptual understanding, structured problem-solving frameworks, and disciplined test strategy. In addition to solving GMAT questions, I coach students on pacing and decision-making—two critical factors for achieving top GMAT scores. Over the years, I have developed a structured GMAT teaching methodology and an extensive collection of advanced GMAT practice questions that help students quickly strengthen weak areas and improve performance under timed conditions. Many of my GMAT students have improved their scores by 80–120 points and gained admission to competitive MBA programs such as UCLA Anderson, Michigan Ross, Chicago Booth, and Berkeley Haas. I particularly enjoy working with motivated students targeting 700+ GMAT scores and admission to highly competitive MBA programs. In our first session, I typically conduct a quick GMAT diagnostic to identify key weaknesses and design a targeted study strategy for rapid score improvement.

An incredible tutor & presence

Diana is incredibly emotionally intelligent. She gives her students the opportunity to engage with the content before stepping in to help. The result is a valuable balance between structure and autonomy. The curriculum is very strong, she has a plan for each session, invests time in the individual development of her students, and makes great strides to tie every last experience to the bigger picture of each problem, school itself, and even the broader world. This is the kind of instructor every kid was looking for when they'd ask "but how will this help me in the real world?" As I write this I still have some development to go but I am very, very confident that I will get there under Diana's tutelage. Incredible instructor!!

Detail oriented and patient

I highly recommend studying with Diana for the GMAT ! She is very organized with her students by having a study plan before and after each lesson. Diana made sure I understood the material during every lesson with giving me practice problems, definitions, and examples. Any question I had was not ignored and answered right away. She was flexible with her schedule whenever I would have something come up with work and would respond to me fast over messages. Also, not only did I have homework but she told me to make a sheet of paper with key information to study from overtime. Having this sheet of paper reinforced material in my head which helped me learn quicker. Thank you Diana !
