Through a commitment to excellence, each student receives appropriate instruction based on their individual needs helping them develop gaming skills. While beginners learn how to play chess, advanced players can improve analytical combination visualization and master their tactical skills in chess. Students learn chess rules, complete theory of chess strategy, attack and defense, all aspects are covered Institutions of learning where I have taught: U C L A Elementary School, Culver City Elementary School, Beverly Hills Chess Academy, I was chess director for the City of Beverly Hills Chess Club located at the Roxbury Park, also chess director of the Westside Pavilion Chess Club, located in Westwood.54th Street Elementary, Alta Vista Elementary, Linwood Howe, Riviera Elementary, Birney Elementary, Dana Middle School, Richmond Elementary, Chess Tutor’s Chess summer camp 2018 also private tutoring both adults and children. Memorable accomplishments would be the countless number of students I have had the pleasure of teaching over a 30 year span here in the State of California I have been playing the game of chess since I was five years old, for over thirty years. I have taught in schools and privately. I have competed in over 100 chess tournaments and love the game of chess and teaching it. I play chess everyday and will always be taking apart the many parts of chess as long as I live. Chess is Life!
