Hello,
My name is Jessica. Glad to meet you all!
I hold a B.S. in Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Applied Statistics at California State University, Long Beach, spending my last semester here.
Over the past six months, I’ve taught SAT Math to high-school students (grades 11-12) in classroom settings and one-on-one via Zoom. I begin with an official, previously released SAT as a diagnostic, analyze each student’s weaker domains and skill levels, assign targeted College Board practice, and progressively move to higher-difficulty problems to strengthen mathematical reasoning. Once the foundation is solid, we shift to timed drills that emphasize pacing, efficient solution paths, and test-day execution. Recent student outcomes include 530 to 680 (+150), 550 to 660 (+110), 670 to 740 (+70), and 710 to 750 (+40) within a couple of months.
Watching students grow in confidence and lift their scores is deeply rewarding. I’m committed to meeting learners where they are, building durable reasoning skills, and helping more students reach the scores that open doors to the colleges, scholarships, and futures they’re working toward.
