I have over a decade of experience helping students develop their ideas, strengthen their writing, and create work they’re proud to share. I’ve helped students of all ages—from elementary school through adult learners—become more confident writers and storytellers. I’ve been a professional actor for decades and have trained at acting schools around the world—including the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). I’m familiar with a wide range of acting techniques, from Method acting (and its many variations) to classic British approaches. This breadth of knowledge and experience allows me to adapt my coaching to what works best for each student’s unique style and goals.

While at my MFA program, I helped other students extensively to make their work the best it could be.

I have helped hundreds of students craft personal statements they're proud of -- essays that have helped them gain admission to their first choice colleges and graduate programs. Along the way, students become more confident writers and learn to express their unique voice and background. Since personal statements are so important to an application, I work closely with students to make sure their stories feel authentic and stand out. In the past, I have had UC readers directly review my students' essays, giving me firsthand knowledge about what admissions officers look for. These experiences have helped me guide students more effectively and efficiently throughout the process. Also, thanks to my master's degree in film production (where I specialized in writing), experience developing professional scripts in a film studio, and a career built around writing, I bring my own understanding of storytelling as I help others.

I have taken many classes for photography and cinematography--at UCLA, USC, and online. I majored in cinematography (and writing) during my MFA in Film Production at USC. For this degree, I studied not only cinematography but also many photographic techniques.
