I am a freelance trombonist, composer, educator and arranger based in East Lansing, Michigan, and Los Angeles areas. I am a freelance trombonist, composer, educator and arranger based in East Lansing, Michigan, and Los Angeles areas. I currently attend Michigan State University where I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Music. For High School I attended the Academy of Performing Arts at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles. In February of 2021, I received an Honorable mention from the International Trombone Association for their 22 and under Jazz trombone competition and was featured in their magazine. In Junior and Senior Year of High School, I was lead trombone of the Los Angeles All City Jazz Honor Band.
I have performed at some amazing venues and festivals such as the Hollywood Bowl, Chengdu International Music Festival in China, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Rose Parade. I have experience playing in studio settings, weddings, funerals, and jazz festivals.
I have experience teaching private lessons and I am available for instruction over zoom and in person.
I have always had a passion for teaching and am able to offer both jazz lessons and technical/ more classically oriented lessons for trombone players of any age.
