Welcome to my profile and thank you for taking the time to learn about my tutoring services. My breadth of tutoring experience ranges from working with children to adults and several subjects including

-ESL for adults and children
-Reading and writing for adults and children
-Anatomy and Physiology
-Human Centered Design or Design Thinking for students and professionals

I earned my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Social Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. During this time, I worked as a teacher's assistant as well as a design fellow who coached and consulted others in human-centered design.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Towson University where I completed several life science and medical courses including Anatomy and Physiology I and II (received an A in my lecture and lab for both courses). I helped other students to understand their Anatomy and Physiology coursework during this time. I also completed courses in functional anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology of exercise. I worked in the medical field prior to and after earning my Bachelor's degree in roles such as an occupational therapy and surgeon's aide and as a traumatic brain injury Medicaid Waiver case manager. I also earned my 200-hour yoga teacher certification from YogaWorks which allows me to continue applying my knowledge in anatomy and physiology.

I have a TESOL certification and am an online ESL tutor for both adults and children. I am currently pursuing my TEFL certification. I have traveled and lived abroad which has helped me to expand my understanding of spoken communication.
