My specialty is working with adults whose goal is to become conversational. Most of my lessons are, therefore, centered around teaching my students how to produce verbal conversations in the target language. I specialize in vocabulary growth, accent and pronunciation work, and verbal processing. I work extensively with these students to strengthen their speaking and listening skills, leaning heavily on educational psychology to tailor my teaching to the needs of the adult learner.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish Literature from Spelman College. I have 8 years of professional experience tutoring and teaching, having matriculated through the state of Georgia’s teaching certification program. In addition to my professional qualifications, I adore teaching and learning at my core. That is what has sustained this work.
