Hi. Welcome to my page. I lead with empathy, kindness and understanding. I want to teach students who are ready to do the work. If you are not willing to show up to sessions to learn, I am not the tutor for you.

I have 12 years of experience as a private tutor, working with middle school and high school students aged 11 to 18, and with college students enrolled in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Additionally, I have worked in the English Language Lab at Orange Coast College helping students with their essays, and in the Writing, Reading and Development (WRAD) Program at California State University Northridge, where I served as a Teaching Assistant for a 400 level Cinema & Television Arts class with an enrollment size of forty students.

Besides my work experience in language and essay labs, I am a professional writer by trade. I hold a certificate in Technical Writing, a Bachelors in Screenwriting with a minor in Creative Writing, and a Masters in Creative Writing from Oxford University.

I can name every country in the world in 20 minutes and each US state in 2 minutes...and I can teach you how to do the same.

I have written and edited hundreds of fellowship, scholarship, admissions and grant application essays for clients and friends. At Orange Coast College, I briefly worked in the International Student Office where I gave guidance to hundreds of students who were looking to transfer to a four-year university. I used these skills to not only maximize my own educational experience, but to also help my peers and friends make the most out of the units they had taken by pursuing certificates and minors that were already built into the classes they'd enrolled in. I can help students at all levels take their assignments to the next level.
