I teach in a conversational, easy to understand way that big name classes can't mimic. In fact, many clients come to me after feeling like large class formats have failed them. We will discover together what's best for YOUR individual learning style, and put together custom lesson plans just for you.

What I offer:
- 7 day a week support via phone and text. Unlike most tutors, I love to help you even when I’m off the clock.

- A custom video library of LSAT diagrams and question explainers, including made-from-scratch video lessons for any student who requests one.

- Personalized study plans that match your learning pace and style, building skills from the ground up by practicing good habits, rather than relying on memorization (which doesn’t work on test day!)

As you can see in my testimonials, our efforts will lead to success. None of us are LSAT robots; I'm here to help you as someone who knows what it's like to study for a stressful test that means everything.

Additionally, my writing experience allows me to serve “double duty” as an essay and admissions advisor. With a professional background that has led me to work both in television and for major U.S. congressional campaigns, I’m intimately familiar with the blend of technique, emotion, and concision that personal essays require. I’ve been paid over six figures for my writing, which makes me a unique contributor to Wyzant's platform that you won’t find anywhere else.

If you feel like we might be a good fit, please reach out. I offer free phone consultations to anyone who is interested, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have!

I’m a professional screenwriter, and one of the few on Wyzant with top tier credits. I've written television episodes for Netflix, and graduated from USC's #1 ranked film program. I’ve worked with premier writers, including Golden Globe and Emmy nominees, and have been paid over six figures for my writing. I'm also a member of the Animation Guild. I love working with students and passing on my expertise. Please reach out if you're looking for help improving your writing!

My essays have led to acceptances from prestigious schools like Duke, UCLA, USC, U Michigan, U Wisconsin, Emory University, Vanderbilt, and more, both in undergrad and graduate programs. When I’m not consulting on essays, I am an award winning professional writer with several screen credits to my name, as well as experience serving as a policy director in charge of a national U.S. congressional campaign, for which I wrote nearly one hundred speeches and policy papers. My work in both the policy and dramatic realms has led me to build a unique skill set that combines emotion, concision, and technique: the exact blend of traits that admissions committees are looking for. Writing is present in my every day work, not just as a tutor, but as a working professional. I take pride in teaching writing so that my students not only learn for today, but for tomorrow, and are able to use their voice in a way that dazzles, impresses, and leaves everyone wanting more. If you want to know more, please send me a message to set up an introduction call, and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Great Consultant for Film School

My son wants to go to film school at an elite university with a top program. Mitchel knows what is required to get accepted to these difficult programs and helping my son achieve this goal. He is helping my son develop a portfolio, and write a personal statement that will get him accepted. I highly recommend Mitchell as a consultant and tutor to help students position themselves to get accepted into colleges, which are very selective.

Highly skilled tutor

Mitchell has started tutoring me on Logic Games for the LSAT. I have had one lesson so far and I am thrilled with the whole experience. Mitchell put together lesson plans and is organized and calculated about his tutoring. This is exactly what I was looking for. He assigned homework that is relevant and that is possible to complete even with my busy work and home schedule. He is patient and goes at a very efficient pace. I can tell he is truly invested in my doing well. I also really appreciate that he makes himself available for questions as they come up outside of our lesson time. I have had a previous tutor tell me to reserve questions for our lessons time and that really set my studying back. Mitchell knows what he is doing. He is a skilled tutor and he tailored our lessons specifically to my needs. I really am relieved and excited that I found him on Wyzant.

So far so good

Mitchell effectively taught how to approach and dissect LG. He patiently answered questions and had no problem going over the time due to some technical difficulties.

Amazing tutor!

I came to Mitchell extremely stressed out and confused about the LSAT because it is such a challenging test & hard to understand. We worked together on the LSAT for about a year & I was so lucky to have found Mitchell because he taught me all about what to expect on the test & the strategies I needed to achieve the score I wanted. He is so helpful and went out of his way to check on how I was doing & check on my progress. Whenever I had any confusions or questions or just comments, Mitchell was just one text/email away and I could always count on him to respond right away! I am so glad I chose Mitchell to be my tutor & I highly recommend him to anyone looking for one for the LSAT!

Extremely helpful & thorough!

Mitchell was really helpful in reviewing and providing feedback for my admissions essay. He was very thorough in that he checked for grammar, content, syntax and helped with essay strategy. He gave me really good suggestions on how to tell my story in a clear and concise way. I was able to confidently complete and submit my essay after working with him. I’m so glad I asked him for help. I highly recommend Mitchell!
