Hello, my name is Jason! I hope you're having a good day.
I am a physics postdoctoral researcher at the University of Delaware, where I do research in theoretical particle physics. I received my PhD from University of California, Irvine (UCI). I have tutored physics and mathematics for eight years, TA'd at UCI for five years, where I have found that many students have the most difficult time putting the concepts and math together to solve problems. So, that has been one of my main focuses; to bridge the gap between the two, and develop problem solving techniques. However, I understand that different students have different needs, and I'm happy to adjust lessons accordingly.
I have experience tutoring a wide range of physics and math courses. Some of these include calculus 1-3, differential equations, intro college physics, modern physics, quantum mechanics, and more! I have done both one-on-one tutoring, as well as drop in tutoring center at my undergraduate institution where students could come in for individual or group tutoring. I have taught physics to both high school and college students.
Ultimately, I want to help students truly understand the material, and to develop skills that will help them later in the courses, as well as in other courses. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I will get back to you as soon as possible!
