I’m Ariana! I got my B.A. from Harvard in 2013 with a concentration in Philosophy, and I'm a lawyer now - graduated from UCLA Law School, and currently practicing in Los Angeles. Aside from the law, tutoring, advising, editing, and consulting are my other passions - I love helping people learn, and meet (and sometimes even exceed) their goals!
I’m a Bar Exam Tutor (both for first-time takers as well as repeaters) after passing the CA Exam on the first try and helping several friends to pass in the following years. In total I have assisted 35 people in passing the CA bar exam.
The Bar, despite being a "basic legal competency" exam, is a tough test! Success on the exam comes down to three things:
*1)attitude (respecting the exam and accepting that your life will be stressful while you study for it if you are doing it right),
*2)strategy (knowing what you must know and what you can leave out and having a plan for how you will memorize and practice effectively), and
*3)execution (practicing the right way, and performing on the day of the exam). Through trial and error, I have developed proven strategies and materials to help you accomplish this milestone and move on to a successful career in the law!
I’m a firm believer that these skills and accomplishments are achievable and accessible by most everyone. I want to benefit the individuals I work with as much as possible, and I recognize that everyone is different and people learn in different ways. My approach to tutoring and advising is to tailor tested strategies to the specific student to address the person’s particular needs.
