I am a certified teacher and reading specialist with a Master’s degree in Education and over a decade of combined teaching and tutoring experience. For the past five years, I’ve tutored students in grades K–6, specializing in reading, writing, and English Language Arts. Alongside this, I have taught in both public and charter school classrooms, where I developed a strong expertise in structured literacy and the Science of Reading. My background allows me to break down complex concepts into approachable steps while keeping lessons engaging, clear, and personalized.

Parents consistently share that I build not just skills, but also confidence. I know how to motivate reluctant learners, stretch advanced students, and provide targeted support for English Learners and students with IEPs. Whether your child needs help catching up, enrichment, or long-term support, I design a customized plan that makes learning feel both structured and encouraging. My years of classroom experience, combined with proven tutoring success, mean that your child will receive expert, individualized instruction worth the investment.

I work 1:1 with students with dyslexia to support their reading development and provide tools and scaffolds to improve their reading skills. I have received training on best practices for teaching reading to students with dyslexia.
