Guitar is difficult, but incredibly fulfilling when you finally play a song that brings you joy. I'm here to help you experience that. One of the biggest lessons from music school was that any song, no matter how difficult, can be learned by breaking it into pieces. Approach it slowly, bit by bit, and you can learn anything. This philosophy guides my teaching, and I've watched countless students achieve goals they thought impossible.

After 23 years of playing, I specialize in Rock, Funk, Pop, and Blues on electric and acoustic guitar, plus challenging fingerstyle pieces from folk to classical. I earned my degree from Berklee College of Music, studying theory, composition, and performance at one of the world's top music institutions. I've performed in bands, recorded music, and have been teaching guitar throughout the LA area for years, helping students unlock their musical potential.

For beginners, I focus on learning songs that inspire you while exploring underlying theory. This keeps you motivated while building understanding with every song. For intermediate to advanced players, I emphasize mastering the fretboard using the CAGED system, then dive into genre-specific techniques tailored to your goals.

My approach is completely personalized. Whether you want to shred like your heroes, write songs, perform at open mics, or play campfire favorites, I'll create a lesson plan designed specifically for you. Every student brings unique strengths and musical tastes, and I adapt my methods to match your learning style and pace.
