I recently completed a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at USC. I also completed an M.S. in Medical Physics and a B.S. in Physics. I have over ten years of tutoring experience in physics, calculus, electrical engineering, and related math courses, working with high school, college, and graduate-level students.

I have worked with many types of students: students trying to pass a difficult class, students preparing for exams, students who want a deeper understanding, and students who feel lost and need someone to slow things down. I have also taught physics and electrical engineering at the college level and mentored undergraduate engineering students at USC in research, math, and technical problem-solving.

My tutoring style is clear, patient, and structured. When a student is struggling, it is often because the class moved too quickly, the instructor skipped steps, or an earlier concept never fully clicked. I focus on finding where the confusion starts, fixing that foundation, and then building up to harder problems.

I do not just solve problems in front of students. I explain what the equations mean, why we use certain methods, and how to recognize the type of problem in front of you. My goal is for students to leave each session understanding the material better and feeling more prepared to solve problems on their own.

I can help with college physics, AP Physics, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, electrical engineering, circuits, signals and systems, electromagnetics, basic electronics, MATLAB, technical computing, exam preparation, homework support, and concept review.

If you are struggling in a physics, math, or engineering course, send me a message with the course name, topic, and what you are working on. We can figure out where the confusion is and start making progress from there.

Calculus

I am a current PhD Candidate in medical imaging physics. Lots of calculus used everywhere! Also, I have tutored many students in calculus over the last 8 years.
Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

I am a current PhD student studying electrical engineering. I have a lot of experience with this subject, both in classes and in my own research. I work with topics such as circuit design, impedance patching, Smith chart calculations, etc.
Physics

Physics

I completed a BS and MS in Physics. I am a current PhD candidate working in medical imaging, using lots of physics/programming to understand how images of the body are made.

Personable and knowledgeable tutor!

I had an electricity and magnetism physics midterm that I was definitely NOT prepared for, and Daniel helped me understand the material in time for me to do well on my test. The fact that he helped me with actually understanding the material instead of memorizing equations was just what I was looking for. Really knowledgeable tutor and knows how to teach physics concepts. Thank you so much!
