On average, my students raise their scores about 150 points on the SAT.
Here's how:
When it comes to verbal, I have it narrowed down to the 20 grammar rules you must know and the reading tactics you must practice in order to raise your score. Do you have trouble with reading the passages quickly enough? With me, you'll learn where all the important information is and how to read a passage quickly while looking for only relevant information.
As for math, I not only know the tips and tricks to boost your score, but also the mathematical ideas that each test uses specifically. Are you scared of big algebra word problems? Work with me and find out exactly how to translate each question stem and answer choice. I can give you strategies that you would never use in school, but work beautifully on the SAT and ACT.
I'm always happy to chat before we meet to discuss your individual goals and struggles with these tests.
