Native Speaker & True Bilingual - Spanish was my first language, and I did not begin learning English until adulthood. I grew up immersed in Spanish language and literature and trained in rigorous linguistic environments. Because I am fully bilingual, I explain complex Spanish grammar clearly in English, helping students avoid confusion and progress efficiently.
Education & Credentials - I earned a degree in Journalism and Advertising from The Ohio State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Arts from the University of Michigan, graduating with honors and a full fellowship. I also passed the California CSET Spanish exams, earning top scores in linguistics, grammar, reading, writing, culture, and literature.
Arts, Media & Entertainment Expertise - I am also a professional singer and performer with national television experience. Many students come to me with scripts, songs, interviews, and performance material. I’ve helped actors prepare roles, singers interpret Spanish lyrics, writers translate scripts, and entertainers refine pronunciation and accent work — including Emmy-winning professionals.
Professional & Industry Spanish - In addition to the arts, I work extensively with clients in business, construction, real estate, healthcare, law, education, hospitality, finance, and entrepreneurship.
