I have taught at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise, the Art Institute of Hollywood and UCLA Extension. In addition, I have given workshops and seminars at professional levels. It is just so much fun when a student experiences that light bulb moment - you know, when everything suddenly clicks and makes sense.

My go to programs are Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. I have taught students in graphic design, fashion, visual communications, product development, surface design, even landscape design. Basically, if you need to know how to do something with one of these three programs, I can show you how to accomplish it. And we can have fun getting you there!

I've been a freelance graphic designer and illustrator for over 15 years and my clients have come from all fields. I've done print to web and know the workflow, so I work smart, not hard. I can teach you fun tips and tricks too!

To make sure that I keep myself qualified, I am always going to user group meetings and keeping track of the latest changes and trends in technology.

I am flexible in scheduling and will be available to answer questions if you get stuck. We can also set up a package deal for multiple sessions.

I taught Illustrator at FIDM for nearly 10 years, as well as other Adobe programs. I am an Adobe Community Professional and I co-manage LADobe User Group here in LA. I have been asked to TA at Adobe MAX and when it comes to Illustrator, I am definitely in my element.

I've been using InDesign since the the program was created by Adobe and before that used Quark. I have taught it several times in a college level course in conjunction with other other classes, teaching students how to make brochures or pamphlets or presentation boards. I have even been selected as a TA at Adobe MAX to a world know InDesign instructor.

I have been a graphic design and illustrator with my own business since 2004 and before that worked as an Art Director. I taught in both graphic design and visual design programs at a college level for nearly 10 years and keep myself current on trends and best practices. My work covers a wide variety from branding and marketing, presentations, posters and mailers to email campaigns and social media.

Michelle taught me some basic principles for Illustrator which were very much needed for a class I am taking and for future reference.
