Hello, I'm Dr. Maria.
I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) tutor passionate about helping students succeed. Academic work can feel overwhelming, and I'm here to make learning easier and more enjoyable.

I hold a master's degree and a doctorate (Psy.D) in Marriage and Family Therapy. I've been tutoring since 2007 and have worked with students of all ages—from preschool to college—in person and online. I specialize in grammar, vocabulary, reading skills, proofreading, and psychology. I'm also experienced with APA style and research methods (please note: I do not tutor statistics).

I've supported students across the U.S. with everything from school assignments to developing store vigorous habits. I'm also comfortable working with English language learners.

My approach is student-centered—I take the time to understand how each student learns best and tailor my support to meet their needs. I'm available for online tutoring Monday through Friday and on weekends.
