I graduated from Stanford University in 2008 with a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Sociology. Since then, I've been working on and off as a TV writer. I tutor on the side as an additional form of income, and also because I love teaching. My mother is a teacher, along with my grandmother, two aunts, and older brother. My goal is to bring out the best in those I work with, inspiring students to tap into the more creative parts of their brains, even when writing academically. My philosophy is that writing can be rewarding, life-changing, and even fun when approached in the right way.
