English Teacher to Speakers of Other Languages with Master's Degree

I teach ESL at Los Angeles Trade Tech and have taught for 6 years at various LAUSD adult schools. I've also tutored reading, writing, speaking and grammar with WyzAnt for the past four years.
My education consists of a Masters in TESOL as well as a secondary Masters in Ed. w/a specialty in special education. I also have an adult ed credential in both ESL and English.

When I teach, I try and determine the student's needs and tailor lessons to that end. I try to be friendly and patient. If the student has any special interests that can be used to enhance and motivate learning, I will be sure to apply it. My teaching style is both verbal and visual. I focus on a student's improvement and try and give lessons that are best suited to their learning style.
