I have a Master's degree in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) as well as a teaching credential for Japanese language. I had taught Japanese at high schools and colleges in Orange county and ESL at adult schools in Los Angeles for over 20+ years. I also have coached table tennis at a Japanese high school students and have a few students now in LA. The high school team won the state championship and competed national high school competition each and every year in Japan.

Superbly entertaining tutor
I really like Hiro's style. He expects you to do your homework (review the material), but as soon as a session starts he just jumps in and for the next hour it's a non-stop interactive adventure. You barely notice the time pass. He provides additional material to learn and he is accommodating to your choice of a textbook. Highly recommend.

My daughter was shy and embarrassed to be exposed to the situation that she had to communicate even when she doesn't know the language others speak. However he showed a great patience and was nice to her. Thank him a lot for that.
