I've previously worked as a Physics, Math, and Statistics tutor for the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez, and for Cal State LA. I'm currently teaching Introductory Physics laboratory courses at Cal State LA. A reasonable amount of my teaching experience has been tutoring for University and High School level Math and Physics courses. I also have plenty of experience tutoring for all other subject areas and grade levels, and particularly with science courses.

Very knowledgeable

Yesse has done a wonderful job of explaining stats and the use of mini tab. Made it much simpler to understand ! He is very patient within his teachings .

Cindy, 2 lessons with Yese J.

Excellent tutor that explains things very clearly

Yese helped me with things I was confused about in my graduate level biostatistics class (namely probability/probability distributions, ANOVA, hypothesis testing ect) The 2 hours of time spent in his tutoring session made more sense to me than the hours spent in class. Awesome tutor!!

Michael, 4 lessons with Yese J.

Knowledgeable and Patient

So grateful to have found Yese! Never thought I’d find a tutor that I could go to for both Japanese and Stats. Love how he goes step by step for both subjects.

Stacy, 3 lessons with Yese J.

Very helpful and tutors well

Yese J. was very helpful to me! He made sure I knew anything he helped me with and I know I will be returning for some more tutoring. Thank you!!

Jessica, 1 lesson with Yese J.

Knowledgeable and Patient

I loved the way Yese taught my lesson, he used an actual workbook page for me to work on through our call. He also got me more used to reading Hiragana and was very patient if I’d make a mistake.

Stacy, 4 lessons with Yese J.

Homework 4/ formulas formulas

Yese helped me with 3 problems. He broke down the concepts so I could remember/ understand the formulas. Very patient and knowledgeable. He did three whiteboards which I reviewed after our sessions that was helpful

Kimberly, 1 lesson with Yese J.

Knowledgeable, Patient, and Very Understanding

Yese was very helpful and was able to show the process of how he works through a problem, making the lesson very insightful overall. He helped me on a numerical analysis set of problems and, even though a problem seemed out of the ordinary or out of his expertise, he was able to work through it and provide guidance for me.

J, 2 lessons with Yese J.

Yese is a great tutor

Yese helped me a lot to understand some chemistry topics I was not able to understand. He is a great tutor and has a lot of knowledge, and is also patient.

Andres , 3 lessons with Yese J.

Calm and Relaxed

Yese keeps it relaxed and low-stress, helps when I get stuck, but lets me work through the parts I can without interrupting. He understands my questions immediately and gets me back on track quickly. He's supportive without being critical.
