First and foremost, I care about my students. Their success is what makes me successful. I understand that we are not the same. I treat all students with respect. I am knowledgeable, patient and empathetic. I have the ability to develop excellent communication skills while teaching and explaining complex material. I am a master at working tactfully with sometimes frustrated students from various sociocultural backgrounds.

I am a Certified Master Level Tutor by the College Reading and Learning Association. I worked as a tutor at the University Tutorial Center, California State University, Los Angeles for over a year and half. In addition, I was a Teaching Assistant-TA teaching Economics at my undergraduate university.

My responsibilities included providing individual and small group tutoring to university students. Some of the subjects I tutored at the tutorial center are:

Also, I presented study skills and college success series workshops.

To share a bit about myself with you, I have a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. I have a BA in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. Helping others achieve their goals is my passion. I received the university Outstanding Graduate Student Award in 2008.
