I worked as a tutor at the University Tutorial Center, California State University, Los Angeles for over a year and half. In addition, I was a Teaching Assistant-TA teaching Economics at my undergraduate university.

Importantly, I have completed some of my university studies in an Arabic speaking country; and as such, I am very familiar with both everyday Arabic and high level academic Arabic. I understand that Arabic is difficult to learn for an English speaker, as it originates from a very different language group than English, but I have been quite successful in teaching Arabic to both English and Spanish speakers over the years. My wife, a native speaker of English, is my newest experiment.

John was very patient with me and was able to explain to me concepts in economics that were not clear to me before. He was very nice to make sure I was secure with calculations and concepts before we went on. I learn with association with ideas and that is exactly what he did, and he used relatable examples which helped a lot. I would definitely recommend John!
