I took French for several years but my skills were rusty when I decided to take an advanced French film class taught entirely in French. I knew I needed help and found Cloe on Wyzant. I have had wonderful sessions with her and she is very smart and talented. She has been helping me with my writing, conversation, grammar and helping to fill in the little bits of knowledge needed to make my French feel more authentic in speaking and writing. Cloe is very observant and able to catch and correct my mistakes. She is always willing to teach, patient, encouraging, and effective. She either lets me tell her what areas I want to focus on for the sessions or if I don't have anything to focus on, she will lead. She has been really helpful with being flexible with her scheduling and meeting me in person per my request. Thanks to her help, I was able to get a 98% on my midterm essay. I am excited about learning French again and feel that I have a great partner in Cloe to continue growing in my French speaking, writing and listening skills. I love that she is able to help me even though I am pretty advanced and she has the formal education as well. I recommend Cloe wholeheartedly for anyone who is looking for assistance with learning French!

Patient and Caring
Last night I had my first tutoring session being an adult learning the French language. Cloe was both helpful and encouraging through the process. She did not just focus on the learning the language, but also pronunciation with diction and the understanding the French culture. I am looking forward to growing with Cloe as my tutor over the coming months. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is in the process of learning or mastering the French language and culture.
