Clara is a dedicated academic and former high school athlete from Westchester, California. She’s been recognized as being 1 of top 50 GPAs in a graduating class of over 800 students at Redondo Union High school, and demonstrated academic excellence during her time at Louisville High school, completing a total of 7 APs, including AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Precalculus, and AP Calculus AB.
With over 2 years of experience as a high school and middle-school peer tutor, she has worked with students in Chemistry, Environmental Science, algebra I and II, Precalculus, as well as Calculus. Her tutoring experience extends from one on one sessions to group peer-review sessions, allowing her to accommodate various styles of learning.
A current student at the University of Southern California, Clara is majoring in Health and Human Sciences while pursuing a Pre-law track. She looks to help inspire and encourage students looking to go into difficult fields of study by taking a goal oriented, positive, and adaptable approach to tutoring. She believes in the importance of becoming comfortable with asking for help and making mistakes.
Outside of academics, she enjoys cinema, creating new unique graphic designs, Forensic Files, and experimenting with new cooking recipes. Having been a 4 year basketball player, she still laces up the shoes from time to time.
