My strength is in communicating difficult or complex concepts in simple and clear words. I have a strong educational background in economics, finance, and computer science from MIT (B.S. '04) and have since been tutoring and teaching primarily in one-on-one settings, helping students and peers understand mostly topics in math and computer science. I will help break down difficult concepts into simpler steps, and adapt my explanations based on the student’s learning style. My students are shown how to build confidence in the approach to problem solving rather than simply memorizing answers. I approach tutoring with great patience, excellent communication, and I bring a supportive learning environment to students, who can ask questions comfortably and develop their independent skills in the subject matter. I have worked with students at middle- and high-school, as well as the college level. I assist with regular coursework, exam preparation, and projects involving applications such as business, finance, accounting, economics, and more.
