Hello! My name is Diana and I am a Cal State LA alumna currently pursuing my MPH at UC Berkeley in Infectious Disease and Vaccinology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and am an AP Scholar, UGROW Research Scholar, and former Graduate Reader at UC Berkeley where I evaluated undergraduate level academic work. I also have hands-on clinical research experience at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center conducting independent breast cancer research.
I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience across multiple settings and age groups. I have worked one on one with middle school students, served as a bilingual teaching assistant at the high school level in both English and Spanish, tutored English composition students at Los Angeles City College, and worked as a Graduate Reader at UC Berkeley evaluating undergraduate written work. My subject specialties include essay writing, personal statements, statements of purpose, biology, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, and AP US History. What sets me apart is my student-led judgment free approach. I work with your materials and your ideas to help you think more clearly and write more powerfully. Having navigated the academic journey as a first-generation student myself, I am deeply committed to making education accessible and approachable for every student I work with. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, I welcome students from all backgrounds.
