I recently earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, and I also hold two associate degrees in math and science and biology. My academic background has prepared me to tutor students in biology, microbiology, general science, and math with both accuracy and patience. Because I speak English and Arabic, I am also able to communicate with students from different backgrounds and help make lessons feel more comfortable and approachable.
I believe good tutoring is not only about knowing the material, but also about explaining it in a way that matches each student’s learning style. I like to break difficult topics into simple steps, use clear examples, and make sure students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing it. I can support students with homework, quizzes, exam preparation, and study strategies. I also enjoy creating organized notes, presentations, posters, and visual learning materials, which can be especially helpful for students who learn best by seeing concepts explained clearly.
Throughout my academic journey, I have spent a great deal of time working through challenging science and math topics and finding ways to make them easier to understand. This has helped me develop a patient, supportive, and encouraging approach. My goal is to help students strengthen their skills, improve their confidence, and feel successful in their learning.
