Hi! I’m an incoming medical student and a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, where I studied the biological sciences. Through my coursework, I developed a strong foundation in biology and chemistry, and I’m excited to help students build confidence in these subjects as well.
My teaching experience comes from both clinical and educational settings. I worked as a behavioral technician, where I provided one-on-one support to a young student with autism. In this role, I learned how to adapt my teaching style to meet individual needs, break down complex ideas into manageable steps, and build trust through patience and consistency. I have also been involved in the Health Sciences Education Program, where I helped design and deliver mental wellness lessons to younger students. This experience taught me how to communicate complex concepts in a way that is engaging, clear, and age-appropriate.
I primarily work with middle school, high school, and early college students in biology, chemistry, and general study strategies. My approach focuses on understanding how each student learns best. I like to walk through concepts step-by-step, use examples to reinforce understanding, and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to help students succeed in their current classes, but also to build long-term confidence and effective study habits.
