I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Analytics and Policy at Johns Hopkins University, where I focus on statistical analysis, data modeling, and real-world applications of data. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from UC Davis, where I built a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, economics, and data interpretation. Through my academic work, I have gained extensive experience using R, Python, and Tableau to clean, analyze, and visualize complex datasets, and I regularly apply these tools to solve practical research and business problems.
In addition to my academic background, I have hands-on experience working with data in a professional setting. I previously worked in property management analytics, where I collected, cleaned, and analyzed data related to financial performance, occupancy, and operational trends. I used R to generate key metrics such as DSCR, occupancy rates, and financial forecasts, helping inform business decisions. I have also developed multiple research projects and data analysis reports, which has strengthened my ability to clearly explain technical concepts and translate data into meaningful insights.
My teaching experience includes serving as an economics tutor at UC Davis, where I supported undergraduate students in understanding core concepts in microeconomics, statistics, and quantitative problem-solving. I worked with students in one-on-one and small group settings, helping them break down complex material into clear, manageable steps. In addition to this role, I have also informally tutored peers in R, Python, and data analysis. I focus on a practical, step-by-step teaching approach, emphasizing real-world application so students can build confidence and independence. I primarily work with high school and college-level students and adapt my teaching style to each individual’s learning pace and goals.
