I graduated from Cornell University with top academic honors, where I studied economics and business, and later earned my masters in business from Harvard Business School. I also scored a 335 out of 340 on the GRE.
I have spent several years tutoring students ranging from middle school through college in one-on-one settings, focusing on SAT and ACT preparation, math and economics coursework, college admissions, and long-term academic planning. I have helped more than 25 students gain admission to highly selective institutions, including Stanford, NYU, the U.S. Naval Academy, multiple Ivy League schools, and other top universities. My teaching style is structured but personal: I break down complex material into intuitive steps, tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, and emphasize consistency and confidence over shortcuts. I want students to understand not just what to do, but why they are doing it.
Beyond academics and test prep, I work closely with students on goal setting and personal direction. I encourage students to explore what genuinely excites them and to align their academic efforts with that vision. When students fall in love with their future path, effort becomes intrinsic rather than forced. My role is to help them build that clarity, develop strong habits, and translate their ambition into measurable progress.
