Hi! I'm Larissa, a Master's student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California on the Artificial Intelligence track. I earned my undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from UMass Amherst, graduating with a 3.8/4.0 GPA, making the Dean's List every semester, and receiving the Chancellor's Award for academic excellence.

My experience spans AI, software engineering, and research. At Dell Technologies, I developed multi-agent AI systems and co-filed six patents. I've also conducted computer vision research at Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and worked as a Data Analytics Intern at Liberty Mutual.

Just as importantly, I genuinely love teaching. I've mentored students through Girls Who Code, served as a UMass student mentor and senior advisor, and led coding workshops for learners of different ages and experience levels.

I tutor mathematics, computer science, Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, data structures, algorithms, statistics, and introductory machine learning. I focus on explaining the "why" behind concepts rather than relying on memorization. If something feels intimidating or confusing, we'll break it down step by step until it clicks.

My sessions are patient, structured, and tailored to each student. We'll identify what's causing difficulty, work through examples together, and build toward solving problems independently. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your grade, or simply trying to feel more confident, I'd love to help!
