Hello!
I'm a rising senior at MIT (Class of 2027) and a tutor with several years of experience tutoring students of all ages one-on-one in math, science, English, writing, standardized test prep, and college applications.
Over the past eight years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including as a private tutor, a math & science specialist for a tutoring company, a volunteer for various in-school and after school tutoring programs, a college admissions expert at a small college consulting business, a high school physics teaching assistant, and a summer session teaching assistant at the UCLA Olga Radko Endowed Math Circle.
I am currently accepting students for remote tutoring or for in person tutoring in the Los Angeles area (while I am living/working here during the spring semester).
Education is my passion, and as a tutor, I have a knack for creatively and intuitively explaining challenging concepts, a contagious curiosity and sense of humor, and a dedication to understanding and adjusting to each of my student's individual needs and goals while also championing robust problem solving and study habits that will help them in any setting.
Additionally, as someone with ADHD, I bring empathy and tried-and-true teaching methods to students who have ADHD or may otherwise need more specialized support when it comes to executive function.
I look forward to connecting with you/your student!
